All IWGGMS-18 poster sessions will take place on the Gather.town platform, where each participant can use an avatar to move around the virtual space and interact with presenters and other participants via text-messaging or video chat while viewing the posters.
IWGGMS-18 poster space in Gather town will close at 9:00 AM on July 19, 2022 (JST).
Up to that time, workshop participants are free to visit and chat.

Submitting a poster
Poster presenters are requested to create a poster to suit the formatting requirements of Gather.town and upload the poster to the designated server at the National Institute for Environmental Studies (NIES) no later than July 5, 2022. The server information will be notified separately to the presenters later.

What you need to join us on Gather.town:
- A desktop/laptop with a mic and camera. Mobile devices are not recommended.
- A web browser (Chrome or Firefox recommended. Other browsers have limited support.)
- We strongly recommend using headphones (incl. earphones and earbuds) to help prevent audio feedback.
- That’s it! There’s nothing to install, no software to download.
