I am honored to announce that I received the Second Runner-Up award for my oral presentation at The 3R International Scientific Conference on Material Cycles and Waste Management (3RINCs) 2026.
This recognition highlights the urgency of developing sustainable solutions for municipal solid waste (MSW) management, a critical challenge in Indonesia, where landfills remain the dominant disposal method. My research focused on the valorization of carbon-rich waste fractions, specifically using pyrolysis to synthesize a composite biochar. The findings demonstrate the strong potential of MSW-derived biochar in a circular economy, moving beyond simple disposal toward applications in wastewater treatment and environmental remediation.
I am grateful for the opportunity to share these insights with the global research community. This achievement serves as a significant milestone in my research journey and will further motivate me to contribute more to the field of sustainable waste management.
