・Performing quantitative analysis and information mapping of natural capital and provisioning/regulating ecosystem services on a national scale.

・Extraction of critical modifying factors (drivers) that affect terrestrial ecosystem services, such as climate change, land use change, wildlife damage (e.g. deer, wild boar), and elucidating their direct and indirect effects.

・Quantifying the drivers for ecosystem services and establishing process modeling for the quantification and prediction of changes in ecosystem services.
