2021.4.12Dr. Yasufumi Mori, Principal Researcher, has received the Award for Science and Technology for 2021 by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.He and his team members were awarded in Public Understanding Promotion Category for their achievement in promoting SPO-GOMI, the most earth-friendly sport in the world. Gomi means garbage in Japanese, and SPO-GOMI is a completely new sport originated in Japan. It adds the essence of sports to garbage collection, and transforms the social service activities into sport competitions.
