Health Effect Assessment Section
Outline of Research
We contribute to the prevention and reduction of adverse effects from environmental pollutants and other environmental factors on health by developing methods to evaluate their effects on the brain and nervous system, and other systems.
We aim to develop a sensitive evaluation method by analyzing at various levels, including the molecular, cellular (embryonic stem cells, primary cell culture), tissue/individual, and behavioral levels, as well as by using fragile animal models.
