Test design
Investigation was carried out non-conventionally cultivated rice field situated at Ladukahi (Godbhaga), India.
- Plot 1: Control.
- Plot 2: Malathion application at the rate of 500 ml of 50% EC (emulsified concentration) acre-1.
- Plot 3: Malathion application at the rate of 2000 ml of 50% EC (emulsified concentration) acre-1.
Sampling method
5 random soil samples each of 20 cm (length) x 20 cm (width) x 20 cm (depth) from plot 1, 2, 3.

Number, biomass of Cocoons, Juvenile, Immature and Adult.
