Purpose for use
Phenoxy (C6H5O-) herbicide, cell culture (Plant growth regulators).
2,4-D is used in cereals as a pre- and postemergence herbicide for the control of broad-leaf weeds. It is also used to prevent early fruit drop, as a plant growth regulator, and for weed control on roadside verges, around buildings, etc. (ref. ID; 6822)
