In the samples regularly collected in the environments of Madrid we have found Lembadion sp. specimens. Having revised the bibliography referred to this genus and after applying the technique introduced by Fernandez-Galiano (1976), we have been able to prove that there is an amount of data specially referred to the infraciliature of this ciliate, which has not been reported until now. These morphological aspects are fully reviewed in this paper and they are also illustrated with microphotographs.
