In May-June 1983, 19 species of free-living Nematoda were found in the Sea of Azov. Among them, the most abundant were such species as Viscosia minor, Sabatieria quadripapillata, Monhystera conica, and Terschellingia longicaudata. Of the 13 species of Copepoda-Harpacticoida found, two species, Canuella perplexa and Limnocletodes behningi, occurred most freqeuntly.
