Notes

The addition of thiram (T.M.T.D.) in heat shock synchronized axenix cultures of T. pyriformis GL induces a lengthening of the generation time, from weak doses (0.25 mg/l) to more important doses (1.0 mg/l) when applied 50 min after the end of the 6th shock (T50). The same effect also occurs when a similar dose (0.50 mg/l) is added at different times: To (end of the 6th shock), T10, T30, T60, T90 (10, 30, 60, 90 min after To). This increasing of the generation time is accompanied by stomatogenetic sequences which differ according to the stage of stomatogenesis where the toxic acts. Evidence is presented of a peculiar evolution of stomatogenetic fields, which includes 4 successives phases; it particularly occurs when a mean dose (0.5 mg/l) is added at the 4th stomatogenetic stage. A variation of the transition point according to the thiram concentration is observed.
