Notes

Two Duszatynskie Lakes (High and Low) placed in the western part of Bieszczady on Chryszczata Mountain (990 m. above the sea) were the subject of investigation. They came into being in 1907 as a result of denudation and the erosion influence of mountain streams. During the period of investigation carried out in 1960-1962 a detailed bathymetry of the lakes was performed, pH marked, water plants described and an interesting planktonic material gathered. The analysis of the material obtained in Duszathynskie Lakes shows the appearance of 13 Rotatoria species, 7 Cladocera species and 7 Copepoda species.
