In this study a group of models, that seems to be adequate for the study of batch culture experiments, in laboratory conditions, are presented from the point of view of the parameter estimation. Moreover, a class of estimators is introduced under different hypothesis of stochastic modelling of disturbance component. An algorithm that can estimated for OLS and GLS conditions has been studied and implemented as a FORTRAN IV programme. Experimental data referring to batch culture experiments on Rotifera (Philodina roseola) and Cladocera (Daphina obtusa) are analyzed in order to estimate the parameters of a time-lag logistic of the Hutchinson type. The results of this estimation are presented and discussed.
