Four communities of colourless flagellates were described within the metasaprobity: Polytometum uvellae, Hexamitetum inflati, Oicomonadetum socialis and Bodonetum putrini. There is a direct succession between the two first named communities, Polytometum uvellae being a pioneer association in decaying municipal sewage. All four associations belong to the formation Bacterio-Zooflagellation.
