Rotifers were collected from 101 stations. Distinct assemblages of species were found in accumulations of rubbish, in bays and backwaters, in deep gorges with lower temperature, in parts receiving water from a lake or from moorland, in the margined regions which are dry at times, and in the submerged moss.
