Heterolagynion
- Heterolagynion fuscus Hada, 1966 (ref. ID; 3496 original paper)
- Heterolagynion oedogonii Pascher (ref. ID; 3496)
Descriptions
The body having a large green chromatophore is covered with a brown hemispherical silicious test provided with a pore at the apex, from which a branching pseudopodium is extruded. (ref. ID; 3496)
Comments
The genus Heterolagynion is distinguished from the genus Lagynion by no collar of a test. Therefore, the present form apparently belongs to the former genus. The new species distinctly differs from H. oedogonii Pascher in presence of a chromatophore and of a branching pseudopodium. (ref. ID; 3496)
Measurements
Diameter of a test 7-8 µm; height of one 5-6 µm. (ref. ID; 3496)
