Corona complex, with an outer band of cilia and an inner band of cilia. Eyespot present. Body strongly tapered posteriorly. Body length 250-300 um long. With two toes. Mastax malleate. Littoral species. (ref. ID; 1663)

Body arched, its longitudinal axis sigmoid, tapering to foot with long, slender toes. Often attaches to plants by thread spun out from toes. Cilia of corona unusually long. (ref. ID; 1923)

Descriptions

Body slender, conical and sigmoid. Anterior end much broader than posterior end. Foot segmented with 2 short and slender toes. (ref. ID; 1806)
