Quadricomoides

Quadricomoides is characterized by the following apomorphic characters: 1. a triradial anterior head end with 3 labial areas or lips, 2. a pharynx consisting of an anterior cylindrical part and a posterior part with a complex asymmetric swelling or bulb and 3. the presence of a pale sub-dorsal organ posterior to the pharyngeal bulb. In all other characters, Quadricomoides agrees with the Quadricoma-group e.g. in having quadricomoid main rings and an inversion ring and by the shape of the endring. (ref. ID; 878)
