Diagnosis (emended)

Female body 0.20-0.64 mm. Annules 24-52, 8-18 µm thick, retrorse, smooth to finely crenate, frequently with longitudinal striae. Head annules usually one, rarely two. Lip region elevated, submedian lobes small to moderate. Stylet 43-97 µm. Vulva generally closed. Tail three to eight annules, rounded conical, VL/VB=0.7(0.5-1). (ref. ID; 5958)
  • Juveniles (male and female fourth stage): Annules with 8-16 rows of smooth scales. Stylet present. (ref. ID; 5958)
