Body cuticle with homogeneous annulation, ornamented with transverse rows of hairy spines. Arrangement and structure of somatic setae tricomoid. Pharynx mainly cylindrical. Female reproductive system didelphic-amphidelphic with branches outstretched. (ref. ID; 878)

Descriptions

This species shows a remarkable resemblance in habitus, more or less in body cuticle, in head shape, and asymmetrical copulatory apparatus with Protricoma inaequalis Decreamer, 1984. A. inaequalis differs from P. inaequalis by the characteristics of the Tricominae: 2 testes in male, a tricomoid arrangement of the somatic setae (however with differentiation in length between sub-dorsal and sub-ventral setae) and a tricomoid endring.
