Descriptions

Body diameter at level of lips 20 µm, cardia 35 µm, vulva 42 µm, anus 16 µm. Cuticle annulated. Numerous large hypodermal glands: in the tropho-sensory section 4 pairs, tropho-genital section 20 pairs, and in the caudal section 3 pairs. The caudal glands are weakly developed. There is a renette gland, the body of the gland is posterior to the cardia, the pore is situated at the level of the nerve ring. Amphids are spiral, 4 µm in diameter, situated at the level of the base of the stoma. In the representation of the male. Alekseyev (1900) mistakenly identified the amphid as an artifact, the structure abbreviated as p.p.zh. is amphid. Size of the amphid is the same in the male. Sublateral setae 4, their length 10 µm. There is an endocapsule and stomatal ring from which cuticular thickening are directed anteriorly. The stoma is deep and wide (15x9), with strongly sclerotized rhabdions. Length of the esophagus 178 µm, diameter from 18 to 22 µm. Hindgut 45 µm. Distance from the anterior end of the body to the stomatal ring 6 µm, nerve ring 80 µm, vulva 556 µm. Reproductive system is amphidelphic, ovaries are antidromic, reflexed, of equal length (91-94 µm). Size of the largest oocytes 53-55x25-28 µm. Seminal receptacles are saclike 46-50x10-22 µm. Overall length of the anterior reproductive tubule 254 µm. Posterior 206 µm. Both reproductive tubules are situated to the right of the intestine. The vulva-anus distance is 481 µm. Depth of vagina 21 µm. Tail 243 µm. (ref. ID; 7916)
