Definition

Buccal cavity barrel shaped, dorsal, and two subventral teeth apexes directed posteriorly, located anteriorly to nearly basal in cavity. Esophagointestinal junction tuberculate. Female didelphic or monodelphic, ovaries or ovary reflexed. Males of most species known. Tails mostly long and cylindroid, caudal glands and terminal duct generally present. (ref. ID; 5938)
