Flagellate stage bears 4 flagella, 2 pairs each arising from a single blepharoplast; vesicular nucleus with a large endosome; amoeboid stage small, less than 20 um in diameter; uninucleate cyst with a smooth wall; stagnant water. (ref. ID; 1618)

Measurements
Amoeboid stage 16-18 um in diameter; clavate forms 30-40 um long; oval cysts 13-14 by 8-12 um; flagellate stage 16-22 by 6-8 um. (ref. ID; 1618)
