Body multinucleate, amoeboid; with yellowish moniliform chromatophores, many leucosin granules and contractile vacuoles; holozoic; surrounded by a brownish envelope which conforms with body form; flagellated swarmers develop into multinucleate plasmodium; plasmotomy and plasmogamy; fresh water.
