A small oval to bag-shaped ciliate. Arrangement of the cirri simple, being restricted to 9 or 10 meridional rows without distinct frontal or transverse cirri. The AZM is short, restricted to the anterior body third. Macronucleus divided into two parts located approximately in the center of the body each with and adjacent micronucleus. Contractile vacuole equatorial. Single species described originally from Cameroon, Africa.
