Colonial. Inverted bell-shaped zooids borne upon partially contractile stalk whose branches contract in a zigzag fashion not spirally. The central trunk of the stalk is non-contractile. The animal closely resembles the genus Myoschiston in form but in Craspedomyoschistion there is a lorica-like structure around the central trunk of the stalk.
