Body outline shape oval, rounded in cross-section. Completely ciliated on all surfaces of body. Oral aperture in anterior third of body in center of ventral surface, supported by cytopharyngeal basket of trichites. 2 contractile vacuoles present, one which lies in front of the oral aperture has radiating canals. The second is situated terminally. Macronucleus ovoid, centrally placed.
