1. Theme
What will you save 30 years from now?
2. Eligibility
Junior High-school Students
3. Entry Specifications
Picture Size = L 54cm X H 38cm. The picture should be drawn laterally. Writing can be incorporated in the picture. (Please also include a description or explanation of the picture in less than 200 words)

Fill-in application form (see below) and attach it to the back of your picture (if you are entering as part of a school or other group please enter the contact details of the supervisor; if you are entering individually enter the contact details of your parent or guardian)

Entries are limited to original works which have not previously been presented

To avoid creasing or bending, send your entry in a boarded envelope

The copyright of the works entered into the competition will revert to the applicant. Entries will be returned to all applicants (in the case of entries as part of a school or other group, they will be returned to the supervisor)

Any personal information shared during the application process will only be used in relation to the current competition, and for no other purpose

7. Prizes
"Outstanding" - Top Prize: 1 person; "Excellent" - Second Prize: 2 persons; Honorable Mention - eight persons; Commemorative Prize - all applicants. Separate prizes will be awarded to all the top places.
8. Posting of Prizewinning Entries
Prizewinning entries will be published on the homepage of the National Institute for Environmental Studies from July 8 (Tuesday), 2014 (prizewinners will be contacted directly in advance)
9. Exhibition of Entries
There will be an exhibition of the entries at the National Institute for Environmental Studies Summer Open House, to be held on July 19 (Saturday), 2014, and on the homepage of NIES.
10. Prize-giving Ceremony
A ceremony will be held during the National Institute for Environmental Studies Summer Open House on July 19 (Saturday), 2014.
