What is Web Accessibility

Web accessibility means that everyone, including the elderly and people with disabilities, can use the information and functions provided on the website without hindrance. (From the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications' Guidelines for The Operation of Mining's Public Sites (2016 edition))

Direction

We are trying to comply with JIS X 8341-3:2016, a Japanese industrial standard revised in March 2016, "Guidelines for Designing For The Elderly and Persons with Disabilities - Equipment, Software and Services in Information and Communications - Part 3: Web Content" (a standard that establishes standards for enabling the use of websites, etc. for everyone, including the elderly and people with disabilities).

Goal

Our goal is to comply with the conformance level AA of the Japanese industrial standard JIS X 8341-3:2010.

Exceptions

Contents published outside of HTML, such as PDF, Word, excel, etc.
We will try to provide corresponding HTML pages as much as possible.
