Career
Guochang received a PhD in Environmental Engineering from Kyoto University in 2019, a Master’s degree in Industrial Ecology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in 2014, and a Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy from Sichuan Agricultural University in 2011. From 2020 to 2023, he conducted postdoctoral research at the School of Environment, Tsinghua University. Currently, he also serves as a member of the Young Scientists Section of the International Association for Natural Resources (iAONR), a think tank expert of the Basel Convention Regional Centre for Asia and the Pacific (BCRC), an Editorial Board Member of Scientific Reports, a member of the Youth Editorial Board of the Journal of Environmental Engineering (Chinese Core Journal), and a contributing editor of Resources, Conservation and Recycling and Resources, Conservation & Recycling Advances. He has published academic papers in leading journals in the fields of engineering, environment, and geoscience, including Science Bulletin, Environmental Science & Technology, Communications Earth & Environment, Resources, Conservation and Recycling, Journal of Cleaner Production, and Environmental Pollution and Control (Chinese Core Journal).
