International Workshop
“Basel Forum 2016 Workshop in Asia-Pacific Region” (Closed)
In order to share the latest knowledge regarding transboundary movement (TBM) and management of e-waste and related EoL products and to understand research needs for promoting environmentally sound management (ESM) in this region, NIES will organize the "Basel Forum 2016 Workshop in Asia-Pacific Region" in Kyoto, Japan together with our partner of Basel Forum in Asia-Pacific Region.
At this workshop, the following topics will be discussed: 1) Knowledge sharing of recent control and practice of TBM regarding e-waste and related EoL products in Asian countries, 2) Understanding recycling capacities and current TBM situation and exploring solutions in the regional scale, and 3) Related research needs.
This workshop will be held as the side event of EcoBalance 2016 (Oct. 4-6, Kyoto TERRSA). We look forward to your participation in the workshop!
