8. Date of publication or broadcast

A variety of publications are available on our website, which can be downloaded in PDF format. All research reports are also available for viewing in our library, although duplication service is not provided. Requests for printed reports will be available for distribution depending on their being in stock. While the reports themselves are complimentary, mailing costs will be covered by the individual requesting them.

To request printed publications, email (int-pub [@] nies.go.jp) with the following information.

1. Requesting individual’s full name and affiliation name
2. Desired materials (URL, publication title, page, figure number, etc.)
3. Name of media outlet for use or publication
4. Purpose and method of use or publication
5. Response due date for availability
6. Desired credit* (e.g. Provided by: National Institute for Environmental Studies/Courtesy of NIES)
   * Note that NIES may specify the credit depending on the material.  

Visits for specific purposes are available throughout the year depending on the availability of facilities and researchers. Please fill out the form below if you wish to visit us.

NIES hosts graduate students for their research activities depending on the researcher’s availability throughout the year. If you wish to conduct research or an internship, consult your supervisor prior to contacting NIES researchers. Any documents required for conducting such activities at NIES must be requested upon inquiry.
