2nd International Forum on Sustainable Future in Asia
January 26 – 28, 2017, at Udayana University, Indonesia
Since after Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Paris Agreement were adopted, world is gearing toward realizing sustainable society. Sustainable development of Asia is indispensable for meeting these goals.
This year’s forum focuses on five main themes which are problems in Asian region; environmental monitoring, environmental risks and health, waste management and recycling, biodiversity, and synergizing adaptation and mitigation actions. NIES researchers and experts from other countries in Asia will present their research results and discuss solutions for environmental issues in Asia and direction for sustainable future of the region.
