Strains

Two strains, collected from Sapporo (cold climate) and Kochi (warm climate).

Environmental stress

Desiccation time 5, 11, 60, 80 min, 2, 5, 7, 13, 16, 19, 24, and 37 hours.

Test design

A single rotifer on a slide glass was subjected to desiccation. After each desiccation time, water added the slide glass. Temperature 25-27 degrees, relatively humindity 68-70%.
