Culture Collection History
The organisms listed here were collected mainly biological sewage treatment systems, activated sludge, biofilm and so on.
We ceased maintaining the culture of these organisms at March, 2018. Protozoa 9 strains [Abbrevation: Ana No.1, Blepha, Colpi-1, Colpo-1, Glau, Ope-1, Spiro-3, Tetra-1, Vor-5], Rotifera 8 strains [Abbrevation: A-12, Colurella, L-1, Lep-Hitachinaka, Mono-2, P-1, R-Kimochi, R-Shibetu] and Oligochaeta 2 strains [Abbrevation: Aeolo-1, Aeolo-Matue] were moved to the Culture Collection Center in NIES (http://mcc.nies.go.jp/).
