Notes

Illustrated descriptions of five new species of nematodes found in Lake Taimyr and in a small stream are presented. Tobrilus tripylis sp. n. differs from other species of the genus in its narrow, unformed buccal cavity and very short esophagus. Tobrilus parvus sp. n. is the smallest species of the genus. Paratrilobus rapis sp. n. differs from the close P. expugnator in the shorter and not whiplike tail. Eutobrilus arcticus sp. n. is close to E. graciliformes, but has longer head setae. Eutobrilus strenuus sp. n. differs from E. prodigiosus by smaller body size and larger head setae. The grandipapillatus species group formerly included in the genus Eutobrilus Tsalolichin on the basis of the peculiar structure of the sexual apparatus of males are classified in the genus Raritobrilus. Identification key to 11 valid species of the new genus was prepared, and also a brief description and drawings of the rare Raritobrilus antarcticus.
