The ecology of two species of suctorians, their seasonal dynamics, vertical distribution and interrelationships in aufwuchs communities of Lake Sevan were studied and their development cycles and feeding spectra determined. One of the species feeds on the mobile stage of the other, which may affect the vertical distributions of both species. Algae development exerts a strong influence on the seasonal development and vertical distributions of these species.
