Notes

The time- and space-dependent changes in types of nematodes fouling macrophytes in the littoral zones of reservoirs are discussed. The types of nematodes present in a reservoir are governed by the succession from eutrophic to dystrophic conditions in the littoral zone. The biological significance of this process is discussed from the standpoint of trophogenesis in contemporary freshwater lakes.
