A procedure is proposed for culturing protozoans (Euplotes harpac and Stylonichia mytilis), as well as a method for their isolation from the natural environment. Taxicology experiments and methods of processing and interpreting the data thereby obtained are described. Recommendations are made on the use of data obtained from such bioassays.
