The genera Crossonema, Seriespinula, Ogma, Pateracephalanema, and Blandicephalanema are revised, diagnosed, and illustrated. A proposal new genus, Neocrossonema, is described and differs from Crossonema by the conical pointed tail, unmodified fringe of spines, and juveniles with finely spined scales. The genus Croserinema is synonymized with Crossonema and the species Seriespinula sokliense with S. octozonale; S. impar with S. tenuicaudatum; Ogma gracile with O. coffeae; and O. rhosimium with O. simlaensis. Crossonema abies, C. aquitanense, C. capitospinosum, C. fimbriatum, C. menzeli, and C. proclive are transferred to Neocrossonema n. gen., becoming new combinations. Other new combination include Crossonema insulicum, C. melanesicum, C. pectinatum, C. pellitum, C. quercum, and Blandicephalanema cactum, Crossonema multisquamatum Kirjanova, 1948 is considered species inquirenda. The male of Seriespinula seymouri was found to have three lateral incisures instead of two as reported by the original author.
