This work describes the somatic and buccal infraciliature on the trichostomatid ciliate Sonderia sinuata Kahl, 1931. We have distinguished three secant systems on the somatic infraciliature: the first one is very large and is located on the ventral side of the cell and the other two are situated at the posterior pole. One of these last two systems is directed towards the right side of the cell, and the second one runs towards the left. The buccal infraciliature is formed by two vestibular lips- lower and upper -with kineties directed towards the left of the cell. The vestibular basket is formed only by the most left kineties of both vestibular lips and it preceds the cytostome and the cytopharynx of the ciliate.
