Electron microscopy observation of replicating ctDNA molecules bearing physical landmarks (R-loops, restriction cuts) allowed us to localize the origin(s) of replication within a 6 kbp long segment, centered 4 kbp from the 5' extremity of the supplementary 16S cistron in Euglena.
