Twenty-six species of Tintinnida were identified in the plankton of Enewetak Atoll. The majority of species in this habitat had hyaline loricae. The agglutinated forms had a high degree of specificity for the types of calcium-containing particles that they incorporated into the loricae. Scanning electron micrographs of loricae are presented for 10 species.
