Notes

The test morphology of Edaphonobiotus campascoides Schonborn, Foissner and Meisterfeld, 1988 was investigated by scanning electron microscopy. The shell consists mainly of Trinema-like shell-plates and some agglutinated refractive material in the region of the pseudostomial collar. The shell of the population studied by Schonborn, Foissner and Meisterfeld (1983) was composed mainly of agglutinated structures. The biometrical data and other characteristics fit well to the original description. Some ecological data are given.
