In this paper a study on peat-moss inhabiting Thecamoeba in materials from Ribas Valley (Gerona, Spain) is exposed. Some considerations on ecological aspect are included. Studied biotope is very rich in Thecamoebians and it is similar in this way to that of Forna. Dominant species appertain to genera Euglypha, Centropyxis and Nebela.
