The third discovery of commensal Vorticella conochili Stokes from Europe has been described. This form agrees in all respects with the descriptions of former authors differing only in the dimensions. The author suggests that it falls within the variation range of this species. The form described was found in the dam of the river Zelivka (South Eastern Bohemia).
