The study of the Thecamoeba fauna from two pools situated in the Ardenne forest (Epioux) shows a great difference between the shore and the bottom. It is possible by studying a great number of individuals of different species, subspecies and varieties, to show that some varieties are not good varieties and must be included in the species.
