Morphological variations in Brachionus falcatus, B. quadridentatus and Mytilina ventralis have been described on the basis of the field collections from two tropical ponds (Bhimavaram, Andhra Pradesh, India). It is suggested that temperature plays a conspicuous role in the occurrence of such variations in rotifers in the tropical regions. In India, variations in the rotifer, Mytilina ventralis is reported for the first time.
