Most confused Hertwigella.

Foot rudimentary. Body saccate. One species parasitic in Volvox colonies. (ref. ID; 1663)

Lorica very poorly developed, rather flexible; with a few longitudinal folds but no transverse previously. Trophi virgate. It has previously been referred to as Ascomorpha or Hertwigella. There is a rudimentary foot so minute it is often overlooked. (ref. ID; 1923)
