Evaluation of the effects of artificial and natural disturbances caused by plantation, forest management, and typhoon on the carbon balance of terrestrial ecosystems in Hokkaido.

Evaluation of the effects of disturbances caused by plantation, wildfire, and social development on the carbon balance of terrestrial ecosystems in Borneo island especially targeting tropical peatlands.

Integrative study based on ecosystem models, ground observation data, and GIS/remotesensing data for the continental-scale estimations of the terrestrial carbon balance.
