Date The first record in Japan was in 1980 at Nasu, Tochigi Pref.
Route Accidental: Hitchhiking on imported hay. Spreading from farm to farm by hitchhiking on tractors.
Impact Competition. Allelopathy. Host for insects, fungi, and nematodes.
